4 tips to find the perfect wedding location
Finding your dream wedding location is one of the very first steps in planning your wedding. But what should you actually pay attention to when searching for the right wedding location?
1. Make a wishlist
What is important to you? Do you want to get married in the city center, in a picturesque church or in a large castle Pay attention to the daily schedule of your wedding. Would you like every part of the day to take place at the same wedding location (very practical!) Or would you like to use multiple locations for the ceremony, dinner and party?
2. Answer the following questions
- How many guests would you like to invite to your wedding?
- What is your wedding budget for the wedding location?
- Do you want to give guests (and of course yourself) the opportunity to stay overnight? For example, when you invite guests from abroad.
- Are there guests with walking difficulties or disabled guests? This affects the choice of the wedding location.
3. Is it an official wedding location?
In order to get married at your dream location, it is mandatory that this location is an official wedding location. If not, don't worry! Most of the time, you can request this at the municipality.
4. Check questions
- Are there sufficient parking spaces at the wedding location?
- Is there a technician present at the wedding location who provides the light and sound?
- How loud (decibels) can the music be? And until what time can the party last?

At this unique wedding location at the Loosdrechtse Plassen you can arrive by a romantically decorated boat. The wedding ceremony can take place in the beautiful garden or in the saloon that provides a beautiful panoramic view of the Loosdrechtse Plassen. Fier Bussum
This dream wedding location of the municipality of Gooise Meren is part of a cultural heritage and has an impressive fortress. The Hooge Vuursche Castle
